Silver: White Diary

MIC’s Listen to Norway series continues with Silver’s hailed debut album "White Diary".

The long awaited debut album of stylish outfit Silver has landed the quintet right where they want to be; a hailed band situated in-between rebellious rock’n’roll, Mohawk-provoking punk rock and fierce glam. Inspirational sources include such central bands as Hanoi Rocks, Thrashcan Darlings, Ramones and Danko Jones. Classic proud rock with a twist of glam and the odd eyeliner. The album’s hit single, “Angels Calling” firmly established the band on Scandinavian radio and intense touring have left them with a solid following. Vocalist Blanco Summer gives all he’s got and then some while the comp and guitar wall keeps pushing forward. “White Diary” is confident, timeless, stylish and not to be missed.

In mid-October, Silver are heading for New York to play three gigs in one week. Check out the calendar section for dates and venues.
