One of the strongest acts on the Norwegian electronica scene, Xploding Plastix, is set to conquer new territories at their Popkomm showcase on Saturday 16th.

Xploding Plastix

Xploding Plastix are currently gearing up for the release of their second album, titled The Donca Matic Singalongs. To prime their audience, the combustible duo recently released the Sunset Spirals EP which features vocal contributions from St. Etienne’s Sarah Cracknell as well as remixes by Stenklang and Rune Lindbæk.

Xploding Plastix debuted with the massively acclaimed album Amateur Girlfriends GO Proskirt Agents released on Beatservice Records in 2001. Solidifying their massive impact, the energetic duo has released a slew of Eps and various vinyl releases and played countless gigs in Norway and abroad.

For their upcoming album release, Xploding Plastix have signed to Sony Music Norway. Distribution and licensing partners abroad are yet to be made official.

The vibrant live-version of Xploding features Erik Velldal on bass and Erland Dahlen on drums and percussion.

Xploding Plastix are set to play the Headquarter/Virgin Labels event at the Gebäude 9 club.
