MIC's Listen to Norway series continues with Thorbjørn Egner: Hakkebakkeskogen, Kardemomme by, Doktor Dyregod

Thorbjørn Egner: Kardemomme by

These three classic children’s’ tales were written by legendary Norwegian writer, composer and illustrator Thorbjørn Egner who has written a string of classic books that have remained key literature for children growing up in post-war Norway. His classic radio shows Climbing Mouse and the other Animals in the Hakkebakke forest, Heroes and Villains in Kardemomme Town and Doctor Doolittle were (and still are) fond memories for generations of Norwegian kids with Egner’s gentle voice reading the tales of people and animals in his vast universe. These three re-releases will be much welcomed by new generations of Egner fans who now get to share the entertaining stories and charming songs with their parents who grew up listening to the very same recordings.
